help with movie downloads

I have a site that lets me download movies and the first timie i did it i just had to find where the movie was wich was with my videos. Now i down load them and it doesnt do like the first time now it trys to play the movie and then i get a pop up saying it cannot play the movie. Any suggestions.

Rooted 2.2 on FRG01B and getting OTA notification

I’m currently rooted and have the FRG01B update, and this morning I got a message saying there is an update for my phone. I clicked install later, but now I keep getting the message every few minutes. Is there anyway to turn off the notification?

If I do happen to install the update is there an easy way to get root access again? How many of you guys have updated OTA?

I’m new to the android world, just picked up an Incredible a couple of months ago. I love it, hard to imagine how I lived without it. Just manually updated to Froyo after becoming impatient with Verizon’s OTA. I know it’s fresh, but I want to root this thing so bad. All this bloatware’s ridiculous, so if anyone knows of a reliable method to root an OTA’d Inc I’m all ears. Thanks people.

i am currently running chevyNo1s v4.7 froyo simply stunnings rom with lv 1.2 ghz and was wondering is there a faster home screen than this? it is decent but it does stall a lil …i heard bout a few such as launcher pro and some other ones but what is the best and fastest one out there? or should i stick with what i have? thanks guys

In case you didn’t catch it the titles an alice in chains referance, but enough about that, ill be returning to work here within the next week or so, I’ve been out of the android world for a bit and need to aclimate again so bear with me, and currently don’t have my droid rooted for warranty perposes but as soon as my ne one gets here ill be back 100%, hoping to be testing hardcore for ruby soon
After my long "break" may of you probably don’t remeber who I am, I’m mayh3m I’ve been testing and providing support for sapphire since before it was even released, I’ve been there "for the most part" at every step of the way here. Unrooted..

I recently just rooted my droid 1 and i wiped and it lost my number now i flashed back to stock 2.0.1 and got my number back but it wont update so i called tech support and getting a warranty they are sending one but they said if they see its rooted they are going ot charge my account 600 dollars..is there anyway for them to find out if i did the unroot spf rds thing flashing back to stock??????? need some help dont have 600 dollars :)

I just downloaded version 1.1.0 and I tried to download Google Sky Map and Google Search but it wouldn’t let me. Any solution to how I can get them?

email not sending?

I’ve seen a few threads but not found a resolution. I have an ireland.com email. I’ve entered the following information manually:

Outgoing: smtpx.ireland.com
Port 25 (also tried 587)

as given on my ireland.com tech pages.

I went to Verizon and asked why email was not sending and they said it must be a problem with my email provider.

Went to Ireland and they said that this was a common problem with iPhones as well and that I needed to use Verizon’s outgoing mail server.

Verizon customer service doesn’t seem to know what that is or be able to give it to me. And now I’m stuck. Part of what sold me on this phone was the integrated inbox and while K-9 is workaround…I hate it!

Anyone have any more info?

Smooth Scrolling Question

I have noticed my X sort of jerks when scrolling. Especially contacts, phone call logs, etc. While I was munching on a Bean Burrito in Taco Bell Wed night, I noticed my friend’s Incredible is as smooth as silk. I feel cheated. Any suggestions? If you don’t know what I mean, just borrow an Incredible for 1 minute.
